The Switchgear Gateway makes possible for the control system to use the digital eDMR radio network as a carrier to communicate with the switchgear deployed in the field. The Gateway is directly connected to the Network Core through an IP link and to the switchgears control units through up to 10 analog links using the HNZ protocol.
The eDMR Network provide easily access to analog or digital switchgears through the radio carrier.

- 10 HNZ V23 links at 1200 bauds, Duplex,
- Each entry of the Gateway can be configured to access one or several network cells,
- 2 external alarm inputs.
- Configuration and upgrade via USB port
- Remote configuration and upgrade through the DMS (eDMR Management System)
