BIRDY 4G LTE is a new generation POCSAG receiver developed by TPL Systèmes for the emergency Services market.
Equipped with a 4G LTE module with 2G or 3G backup, it allows automatic acknowledgment upon receipt of a POCSAG message and confirmation by the user whether or not the intervention has been taken into account.
In addition, the BIRDY 4G LTE can receive messages sent by a Cellular network either in M2M mode or via SMS.
The GPS module enabling the location of BIRDY 4G LTE can be activated or not at the programming stage. It can be also activated/ de-activated by the user.
BIRDY 4G LTE can send to the alert system information such as leaving out from a geographical area (eg distance greater than 10 km from the emergency center).
Autonomy has been particularly optimized thanks to the integration of a 3-axis accelerometer, a sleep algorithm, and low-power components. It can be recharged thanks to its desktop charger or a travel charger thanks to its USB type C connector.
BIRDY 4G LTE integrates an availability tracking module "Availibility Management" related to the alert systems that allows to know or perform its change of state in real time.
BIRDY 4G LTE integrates a MIFAIRE RFID chip allowing the identification of the receiver but also the management of automatic opening of doors for example.
BIRDY 4G LTE can manage the protection of the lone worker through loss of verticality and fall detection.
