BDA
BDA allows BER to be used from a second operating station in a vehicle.
Description
BDA is a new piece of equipment developed by the TPL Systèmes design office, enabling a BER to be used from a second operating station in a vehicle. For example, in a fire-fighting vehicle, the same BER can be used either from the Control Head or TM-CU (CUNO) microphone in the cab, or from the remote microphone in the airframe. Ditto for pump-tonne vans, ladders, etc.
The BDA system connects to one of the rear connectors on the Control Head or TM-CU (CUNO) and broadcasts the audio to a second loudspeaker and a second bulb microphone. The BDA incorporates an audio amplifier for powerful listening on the loudspeaker, but the micro-bearers also incorporate an audio amplifier.
The simple BDA can be used to connect a second loudspeaker and a second MIC BIV waterproof bulb microphone. The listening level is fixed and preset by parameter.
The BDA solves all the problems associated with installing ANTARES equipment in specific vehicles, requiring 2 points of use.
The BDA case is IP54 waterproof and can be installed quickly thanks to its two mounting brackets. The BDA requires a 12V power supply.
