Birdy 4G LTE

POCSAG or Flex dual-vector pager with integrated 4G LTE module

Description

BIRDY 4G LTE is a new-generation POCSAG receiver developed by TPL Systèmes for the French fire department market.

Featuring a 4G LTE module with 2G backup, it enables automatic acknowledgement when a POCSAG message is received, and confirmation by the firefighter of whether or not the intervention has been taken into account.

In addition, the BIRDY 4G LTE can receive messages sent by the operator network in permanent connected mode.

Its integrated GPS module enables precise localization. This GPS module can be activated or deactivated during programming, or disabled at any time by the user.

BIRDY 4G LTE can send information to the alert system if it leaves a geographical zone (e.g., more than 10 km from the emergency center).

Autonomy has been particularly optimized thanks to the integration of a 3-axis accelerometer, a standby algorithm and low-consumption components. It can be recharged using its desktop charger or a travel charger thanks to its USB type C connector.

BIRDY 4G LTE integrates a “DISPOBIP” availability monitoring module linked to alert systems, enabling you to know or change its status in real time.

BIRDY 4G LTE integrates a MIFAIRE RFID chip for receiver identification and automatic door opening, for example.

BIRDY 4G LTE can manage the protection of lone workers, thanks to its ability to detect loss of verticality and detachment.
