Description
Birdy Button is a hybrid product that can be used for two purposes: as an emergency button or as a tracker.
Emergency button mode:
When you press the main button, the LED surrounding it changes colour during transmission (e.g. blue) and during acknowledgement by the system (green), or turns red if the system does not respond.
In tracker mode, medical equipment and other items equipped with Birdy Button included in the IPS solution (IPS Beacon, IPS PocOverIP) can be accurately located inside buildings.
The Bluetooth mode integrated into the Birdy Button is always active, as is the accelerometer, and if the device detects movement, it temporarily starts the Pocsag transmitter and sends the new position. The POCSAG receiver then remains on for a few seconds to receive the acknowledgement.
