Birdy Slim IoT is a POCSAG or Flex pager designed and manufactured by TPL Systèmes to be used in any environment or situation where a «small size» receiver is needed.
Based on a completely new logic and radio architecture, Birdy Slim IoT also integrates the latest components available on the market.
More compact than a mobile phone, Birdy Slim IoT fits in the hand and is very easy to carry in a pocket or belt. Although light, it is still robust and high-performance with features such as: reinforced shell, IP67 protection rating, RFID chip inside, large screen with colour backlighting.
Birdy Slim IoT is a 128 address receiver, available in several frequency bands, in synthesized version, for POCSAG or FLEX networks.
Birdy Slim IoT is equipped with a display with a very bright multi-color backlight and a flashing LED light, high brightness to indicate that a message has been received.
Birdy Slim IoT is also capable of transmitting messages via an integrated POCSAG sound transmitter. This gives it the possibility to pay for messages but also to send SOS messages or loss of verticality in case of protection of the isolated worker.
It also offers transmission capability on LoRa or Sigfox IoT networks.
Birdy Slim IoT offers a GPS module for outdoor geolocation and a BT module for indoor geolocation with bluetooth beacons.
