ITPHNZ GATEWAY

Telecontrol management gateway between SCADA and eDMR radio network

Description

The ITPHNZ Gateway enables a SCADA telecontrol system to use the eDMR digital radio network as a transmission medium to remote control devices (OMT/IAT) located under the eDMR network's electrical radio coverage.

The ITPHNZ gateway connects directly to the core network via Ethernet, and to the SCADA system via several analog links (10), using the HNZ protocol.

The eDMR network can be used to address remote maintenance devices or beacons, equipped with analog or digital “radio carriers”.

Features

Main features of the ITPHNZ Gateway:

  • 10 HNZ V23 links at 1200 baud, duplex
  • HNZ I/O matrixing per cell
  • 2 External alarm inputs
  • Local configuration and update via USB link
  • Remote configuration and update from DMS (eDMR Management System)
