Description

PicoPOC is a POCSAG signal repeater designed to ensure continuity of coverage for your alerting network inside buildings or homes.

PicoPOC is a POCSAG repeater developed and manufactured by TPL Systèmes for people experiencing alert network coverage problems inside buildings or dwellings.

PicoPOC automatically retransmits the POCSAG messages it receives to the pager(s).

Extremely easy to set up, the PicoPOC repeater can be installed in a matter of seconds once programmed. Simply connect it to a 220V power source via the supplied mains adapter, and mount it on the wall using the installation kit.

PicoPOC is synthesized and available in over 15 frequency bands (VHF and UHF).

PicoPOC has 3 programmable operating modes thanks to its customization software:

  • Total repeat: retransmission of all RIC codes and POCSAG messages received.
  • Repeat by list: retransmission only of pre-programmed RIC codes and associated POCSAG messages, with the possibility of having a list of 90 RIC codes.
  • Repeat by prefix: retransmission only of RIC codes beginning with the preprogrammed prefix(es) and associated POCSAG messages. Possibility of having a list of 10 RIC code prefixes; e.g. 0241XXX or 024XXXX etc...

PicoPOC is supplied with a 1/4 wave antenna and a TNC antenna connector. This antenna can be replaced by an external or higher-gain antenna.

In addition, PicoPOC is powered by a 220V/5V mains adapter, which is connected to the mini USB connector on the front panel.

A test button sends a test message to a predefined pager number. A long press on this button loops the test message, enabling a coverage study to be carried out.
