Pilot Box
GPS receiver for ANTARES vehicle tracking equipment
Description
The PILOT BOX is a GPS receiver specifically developed for ANTARES equipment by TPL Systèmes, enabling precise vehicle location.
Its compact size makes it easy to install in a vehicle, and it is connected via the ANTARES system cable.
The PILOT BOX is equipped with a high-sensitivity 50-channel UBLOX GPS module for fast acquisition and extreme precision.
Thanks to its specific dialogue with ANTARES equipment, the PILOT BOX can also manage the unique external identifier (ERFGIX) of a vehicle fitted with a TPH700 BIV, enabling a fixed vehicle identifier to be associated with any TPH700 inserted in the BIV. In this way, the CTA/CODIS will be aware of the vehicle in operation with a lambda device.
The PILOT BOX can be customized using user-friendly software, which can also be updated.
The PILOT BOX is the most widely used locating device in civil protection vehicles.
