RPND
eDMR RPND relay
Description
RPND series duplex relays are VHF infrastructure equipment, featuring eDMR digital technology, designed and manufactured by TPL Systèmes.
High-spectral-efficiency RPND relays can handle two simultaneous audio and one data communication in 12.5 kHz channel spacing between digital terminals.
Thanks to their mixed design, they allow the use of analog terminals during migration phases, ensuring a switchover from digital to analog operating mode, regardless of slot occupancy (TPL Systèmes patent).
RPNDs have their own intelligence, provided by the Simplified Node Center (CNS). The CNS is integrated into the relay bases themselves, and independently manages the various types of call, mobile and portable registration/de-registration, alarm information and GPS data transfer, while controlling the various interconnection interfaces between relays (microwave, PSTN, IP channel).
